My mission is to help people who feel stuck—emotionally, physically, or energetically—find clarity, relief, and deeper freedom by uncovering and releasing the root causes behind their discomfort.
For years, I lived with persistent digestive issues, hormone imbalances, and chronic low back pain. I did everything I could to feel better—cleaned up my diet, went to health practitioners, healed my gut, and made intentional lifestyle changes. While those helped, I kept running into invisible walls. On good days, I felt great. On occasional bad days, the gut flare-ups or sciatica would return—seemingly at random.
What I eventually discovered was that my body was speaking to me—loudly.
The recurring symptoms were tied to deeper emotional patterns: the parts of me that overextended, stayed silent, or took on what wasn’t mine in order to please others. Once I began working with the subconscious mind, emotional energy, and nervous system regulation, everything began to shift.
That healing journey brought me to NAET, Spinal Flow, the Emotion & Body Code, belief work, and Katonah Yoga.
Now, through Embodhi Self-Healing, I guide others through a similar transformation. I help clients release long-held stress, shift limiting beliefs, nourish themselves on every level, and return to a state of calm, grounded clarity.
My approach isn’t surface-level wellness—it’s root-cause healing through the body, mind, and energy system. It’s for those who want to feel aligned, at ease, and deeply themselves.
The Katonah Yoga practice found Lesley in Edmonton, AB in 2016. She practiced and trained under Kat Villain with additional training from the founder of Katonah Yoga, Nevine Michaan. What drew her initially to this style of yoga was the formality of the practice that helped her to tune in and realign her body to relieve 7 years of sciatic nerve pain due to scoliosis.
It was through her Katonah Yoga journey that she understood that it is up to each of us to participate in our own physical and mental well-being. The communal aspect of the practice and its ability to align mind and body to bring new insights and perspectives on life have kept her practicing daily. Katonah's use of metaphors, myths and magic led Lesley to realize her potential and resulted in the creation of Embodhi Self-Healing so she could share the joy Katonah Yoga has to offer and fuse it with her love for nutrition and energy healing.
Lesley offers group yoga classes, private yoga classes, and corporate classes to teach her community how to achieve greater physical, mental, and emotional alignment in their lives.
